Cercis NEW

Horticultural collection

Stuart Senior

Somerset

Description

Cercis were originally used from 2009 as underplanting in my newly planted 1.5-hectare arboretum. The collection is now a mixture of mature trees and shrubs and many new plantings. Species represented are Cercis canadensis, chinensis, gigantea, glabra, griffithii, orbiculata, racemosa and siliquastrum. In addition to the Cercis there are a number of unusual and red-listed trees and shrubs.
