Description
Planned and developed by Thomas Cubitt in 1830s, the 3 acre garden square is subdivided into sections with noteworthy collections of roses, camellias, ferns and tree peonies. The Garden holds the Collection of Ceanothus comprising overr 70 species and cultivars some of which are now rare. Notable important additions of unusual and tender plants being grown and tested.
