Biosecurity Plan Launch: Protecting your hard work
This workshop will explain the launch of biosecurity plans for collection holders. Many collections will have a plan already in place; to protect historic and scientific collections and we wish to roll that out to all collection holders, to help protect your hard work in amassing your collection.
Why now? because there has been a dramatic increase in pests and diseases that could devastate collections, such as the Banana moth and Xylella fastidiosa both of which are gaining ground and can attack a huge number of genera.
We will cover; what is a plan? how to formulate one, or how to adapt the generic one which will be sent out to collection holders. It will also update you on some of the Pests and diseases coming towards us.
For Collection holders, but open to all.
