“The Glory of the Garden”
Join us in the splendid surroundings of Broadward Hall for an entertainment in words and music celebrating the garden and all that’s in it. In support of Plant Heritage.
Part of the performance will take place in the Music Room and Broadward’s own “secret garden” and on the terrace in front of the Gothick wing of the hall, weather permitting.
Readings from Marvell, Frances Hodgson Burnett, Milton and Beatrix Potter.
Music by Elgar, Vaughan Williams, Schubert, Bach and Vivaldi plus a selection from an 18th century pocketbook for flute, “The Bird Fancyer’s Delight”.
