Open day to visit the National Plant Collections.
NGS open day. World renowned plantsman's garden, large scree beds and rockery, extensive collection of alpines and dwarf conifers; many new varieties not seen anywhere else. Huge tufa wall planted with many rare alpines and sempervivums, water garden and cascade system. Garden currently undergoing renovation and replanting. Superb views over the Dales.
