Dionaea, Sarracenia


Open day to visit the National Plant Collection during the Plant Heritage 45th Sapphire anniversary year.

One of the most diverse Sarracenia and Dionaea collections in Europe with not only European and UK originated cultivars, but also US and Japanese ones too. Main collection is housed in a 20 x 4.5m glass house with a large sales greenhouse and a separate glass house for the Dionaea (Venus's Flytrap) collection and Sarracenia seedling zone. There will be plenty of plants for sale, ample parking and refreshments will be provided. This open day is concurrent with the UK carnivorous plant society.
