Herefordshire Group AGM and Garden Party at Weston Hall

This year we are combining the AGM with our popular Summer Party. We promise to keep the AGM short so we can get on with the lunch and garden visit as soon as possible. Please come along with loads of ideas for garden visits and any feedback/suggestions for what you’d like the committee to pursue on your behalf. This is sure to be a popular event and places are limited so please be sure to book.
Weston Hall will be familiar to many members as we have been kindly allowed to visit this six-acre garden in the past. As with all great gardens it continues to evolve and merits frequent visits. We haven’t been for seven years and I’m sure you can’t wait to see what has changed.

For those that have not had the chance to see the garden before it surrounds a most beautiful Elizabethan house. There is a wonderful large walled garden containing herbaceous borders, vegetables and fruit, which is overlooked by a Millennium folly. There are large lawns with both mature and recently planted trees and shrubs, many out of the ordinary, reflecting the Pelham’s keen interest in collecting the rare and unusual.

Directions: 1m east of Ross-on-Wye. On the A40 towards Gloucester. Coming from Ross the entrance is on the left after the speed limit reduces to 40mph. Parking is very limited so please car share if possible.
