Private garden visit DUNLEY HOUSE, BOVEY TRACEY

This garden, set among mature oaks and sequoiadendrons with a huge liquidambar started from a wilderness 40 years ago. Rhododendrons, camellias and over 40 different magnolias flourish here. There is an arboretum, walled garden, rose garden and a new enclosed garden with a lily pond. There are woodland walks around the periphery of the garden.

From the A38 westbound turn off towards Chudleigh Knighton on the B3334. In the village follow the signs for Dunley House. The house is 2 miles east of Bovey Tracey on the road to Hennock.
