Rosa ‘Home Sweet Home’ (HT)


Description:

Bred by Wood & Ingram circa 1936 (under directorship of Henry Perkins) it was listed in Wood & Ingram A Huntingdonshire Nursery 1742-1950 (Drake, 2008) as a 1939 introduction and described as a rich velvety pink rose that became a popular rose throughout WWII, purchased as single orders to mark special anniversaries.  Large, double medium pink blooms with moderate damask fragrance. Blooms throughout the season in flushes. Dark green glossy foliage.
