Plant Guardians

Abutilon ‘Savitzii’

Description:

Our earliest records dates to 1895 listing in the proceedings of the Society of American Florists. Again listed in 1900 New Floral Guide (US) as a new Japanese Abutilon alongside A. 'Gabriel Rivoire' & A. 'Souvenir de Bonn'. Variegated forms can be prone to scorching in full sun. Grows best in dappled shade and well-lit situations. Hardier varieties can survive outside in milder regions when grown in a sheltered position.
