Synonym: Aster novi-belgii ‘Pride of Colwall’

Description:

Bred by Earnest Ballard circa 1951. Cited in 'The Gardener's Guide to Growing Asters' (Picton, 2004) as good for use in borders and for cutting. Described as flowering mid-season and reaching a height of 90cm with small double heather-purple flowers.
