Description:

Bred by William Mohr & Sydney B. Mitchell, R. circa. 1927 (USA) 48", Mid-season flowering, with standards and falls of pure white. Described as being of very good form. Parentage: 'Argentina' × 'Conquistador'. Described by Award Iris Nurseries, Kelway & Son 1949-1950 catalogue as 'pure snow white of fine form. Slightly tender.' Gwendolyn Anley writes in Irises: Their Culture & Selection (1946) that this cultivar 'Requires the shelter of a south wall in nearly all gardens'.
