Dianthus ‘Joan Schofield’


Description:
Introduced by H.R. Whetman & Son 1996 as a sport from 'Whatfield Cancan'. Named for Joan Schofield of Whatfield Hall, founder of Whatfield Pinks. Joan named many of her introductions for her friends. Our Plant Guardian purchased this plant in 2003 whilst on a visit to Devon. Purchased from a couple who ran Lydford Alpines, one of whom previously worked for Joe Elliott of Broadwell Alpines, nr. Moreton in Marsh.
