Description:
Cited in Award Iris Nurseries Kelway & Son 1949-50 cat. as a new offering and described as 'Beautifully large white ruffled flowers, a full bright beard, well branched. A.M., A.I.S.. Further described in Kelway's cat. of 1960 'This iris is well named for it is just as pure in colour as newly fallen snow. The flowers are large and ruffled, with no venations. Just the full bright yellow beard that emphasises the purity of the bloom. Tall well-branched stalks. M 40 ins. AM AIS 1949 AM RHS 1953.
