Plant Guardians

Abutilon ‘Cerise Queen’

Description:

Described and pictured in Australian writer Don Ellison's Cultivated Plants of the World: Trees, shrubs, climbers from 1995 as a free flowering hybrid of cerise pink with long lasting flowers. Ellison notes that the hisotry of Abutilon cultivar introductions are unclear with 'Many hybrids of unkown origin are the most widely grown.'  Pictured in Phillips & Rix Climbers 1998 it is described as rich pink with spiralling, overlapping petals.
