Synonym: Diervilla canadensis

Description:
Deciduous shrub to 1.5 m. tends to spread via stolon growth. Pale yellow flowers becoming darker with age. Native to the eastern provinces of Canada and north central and eastern US. Habitat is open woodlands and rocky regions with an increase in altitude in warmer climates.
