Description:

Bennett (2002) in Pulmonaria and the Borage Family has a 'small habit with soft violet, scented flowers'. Described in The Garden 1995 as being 'the typical mid-range colour common to the widest groups of cultivars.', our earliest record is from The Garden* 1913. Cited in the 1950s as Heliotropium peruvianum 'Lord Roberts.
