Agapanthus inapertus subsp. intermedius ‘Long Tom’

Description:

Our earliest record notes this plant has been in commerce since 2010 and a note from Dick Fulcher in the Plant Heritage Devon Group Newsletter of summer 2019 refers to a 'white clone was eventually named 'Long Tom' by Richard Jamieson, a well-known grower of in Capetown. (I suspect it was collected somewhere on the Long Tom Pass near the road over to Lydenburg. We saw some fine specimens there).' Strong stems to 1.4m with pure white flowers, held erect in bud opening to at pendulous form.
