Iris ‘Glas-y-dorlan’


Description:

A cross between 'Harpswell Happiness' × 'Dear Dianne' raised by Harry Foster, Crickhowell, registered 1993, one of around 25 Siberian iris bred by Harry between 1986 and 1992.   Described as having dark violet blue (RHS 96A) standards; light blue shading to orchid, heavily feathered, style arms; Dark violet blue falls are edged silver, with a kingfisher blue flash from signal over most of falls. Lightly ruffled white and gold signal. Late midseason to very late when in bloom.
