Iris foetidissima ‘Paul's Gold’


Description:
Cited in the The Plantsman 2015 as being ‘named by Ray Brown of Plant World Seeds, Devon, who obtained it from Paul Bygrave of Forde Abbey nursery, Somerset. Bygrave received it from Savill Garden, Berkshire, labelled 'golden leaved form' in the late 1980s or early 1990s.' Easy to grow & will tolerate most conditions, will really thrive in rich soil which retains moisture, less flower in shade.
