Galanthus ‘G71’


Description:

Heyrick Greatorex was a noted snowdrop breeder from Norfolk, working in the mid 1900s. He used pollen from G. nivalis 'Flore Pleno' and crossed it with G. plicatus to produce hybrid doubles. This cultivar was found in his garden in the 1970's by Fred Buglass, a leading member of the Alpine Garden Society.
