Rosa ‘Dame Edith Helen’ (HT)

Description:

Bred by Alexander Dickson II (1857-1949), Newtownards, Northern Ireland (1857-1949) in 1925 and named for Dame Edith Helen Vane-Tempest-Stewart, Marchioness of Londonderry, a writer and note gardener. The Dickson nursery was founded in 1836. Flowers throughout the season with very large, double, deep pink blooms with salmon highlights becoming lighter with age. Susceptible to blackspot. Strongly fragranced.
