Rosa ‘Madame Caroline Testout’ (HT)


Description:

Introduced circa. 1890 by Joseph Pernet (1859-1928), who had changed his name upon marriage to Marie Ducher of Ducher nursery, whom he worked for.  Large double flowers of medium pink, petals have a darker centre and silvery outer petals. Little, or mild fragrance.  Pernet-Ducher introduced what is referred to as Pernetiana roses, hybridising to introduce yellow flowering tones remontant (repeat) flowering forms.
