Description:
Hybridised by G. H. Chadburn, Suffolk, England in 1941. Recipient of the Foster Memorial Plaque in 1946. Described in Award Iris Nurseries Kelway & Son 1949-1950 catalogue as 'The finest English yellow. A large medium yellow with slightly ruffled and semi-flaring falls. A very lovely garden plant. Well-branched, strong sta.lks. M. 36in. G.C.C., R.H.S. and Dykes Medal, 1941'.
