Hybridised by Robert J. Graves (1878-1950) USA. Described in Award Iris Nurseries, Kelway & Son 1949-1950 cat. as 'Never has an iris become so popular in its first vear of introduction. A beautifully ruffied,clear light blue with no trace of lavender. A refined and captivating flower. M.L. 36in. A.M., A.I.S. 1948.'
