Geranium ‘Drake's Seedling’


Synonym: Geranium sanguineum ‘Drake's Pink’

Description:
Grown by our Plant Guardian since early 2000s this plant was received under the name of G ‘Drake’s Seedling’. Introduced by Jack Drake of Inshriach Nursery. Jack moved to Inshriach House with his parents in 1938, and developed the adjacent woodland into a nursery site. John Lawson joined the nursery in 1949 and continued to run the nursery when Jack retired 1971. When John retired in 1999 the nursery was then run by John and Gunn Borrowman, who came over from a nursery in Norway.
