Rosa ‘Autumn’ (HT)


Description:

Bred by Lyman B.Coddington, New Jersey , USA in 1928 . Of upright form, orange flowers with golden-yellow undertones and scarlet stripes, along with a strong citrus fragrance. Can be susceptible to black spot. Considered a new class of rose, Pernetiana roses were renowned for their unique blended colouring.  Named for their originator  Mons. Pernet-Ducher, of Lyons., who was so inspired by ‘Persian Yellow’ he aspired to develop such a colour within a remontant (repeat) flowering form.
