Plant Guardians

Potentilla fruticosa ‘Royal Flush’

Description:
Introduced by Hopleys Plants Ltd which was run by Dr and Mrs Barker at Much Hadham in Hertfordshire. 'A seedling of ‘Red Ace’, also raised by Dr and Mrs Barker. The flowers, under favourable conditions, are a deep rosy pink, with a tendency to be semi-double, but they are more inclined to fade than those of ‘Red Ace’ and the plant is weaker-growing.' 'Potentilla' from the website Trees and Shrubs Online (treesandshrubsonline.org/articles/potentilla/). Accessed 2022-10-18.
