Plant Guardians

Rosa ‘Comtesse Vandal’ (HT)

Description:

Bred by Mathias Leenders (1883 - 1958) of the Netherlands before 1930. Pink flowers with salmon-pink shading, yellow undertones and a coral reverse.  Moderate fragrance reminiscent of wine.  Very large, double, high-centred flowers in flushes throughout the season.  A Pernetiana rose, renowned for their unique blended colouring and named for their originator  Mons. Pernet-Ducher, of Lyons., who aspired to introduce yellow blends into remontant (repeat) flowering forms.
