Description:
Selected and named by G. E. Backhouse, derived from L. × dalhansonii Backhouse Group which were raised in the early 1890s by Mrs R.O. Backhouse (Sarah Elizabeth) of Sutton Court, Herefordshire. First listed in the catalogue of Wallace & Barr in 1957. Mrs Backhouse developed the Backhouse hybrids which were raised in the early 1890s and along with her husband R.O. Backhouse, were renowned daffodil hybridisers breeding more than 470 cultivars.
