Kniphofia ‘Primrose Upward’ AGM


Description:
Received into the 2007-2009 RHS trial as K. 'Maid of Orleans' it was found to be misnamed specimen and was subsequently renamed K. 'Primrose Upward' by Bob Brown of Cotswold Garden Flowers. He named it for Primrose Upward (previously of Lye End Nursery, Woking), who had gifted him the original specimen. Described in The Plantsman 2010 p.153 as, long flowering from May to November with yellow buds tinged chestnut, developing to pale greenish-yellow. It received an AGM during the trial.
