Description:
Hybrised by Fred DeForest (1896-1960) from Oregon, US in 1947. Tall bearded mid-season flowering. Fragrant. Described as one of the largest pink irises of its time it is a lovely large apple-blossom pink. Earliest known UK record is from Kelway's 1966 catalogue as Iris 'Cloud Cap'. Our Plant Guardian has carried on growing this plant which was previously grown in their parents garden in the 1960s.
