Jim has gardened all his life, spending 25 years working for the National Trust as a gardens advisor.  He moved to Suffolk with his wife Sarah Cook where they hold 3 National Collections. He has regularly exhibited his carnations at Hampton Court, winning several gold medals.  He is an active member and past chairman of the Suffolk group and a member of the RHS Herbaceous Plant Committee.
